Loser/Lover is about failed relationships where the partner decided to leave the person for another individual and the person is unable to move on from the lover promises and fake feelings so the person decided to numb the pain with drugs and liquor for suicide to end the suffer and sorrow.

The second verse shows that the person has moved on and started being sober from drugs and smoking cigarettes with having a positive mind and attitude and love for his loved ones but at the same time, having an occurred nightmare every night where the lover left the person and feared that the person might suicide if seeing the lover once more.

The instrumental beat was produced by Malu and sampled by [?].

Numb my pain with drugs to make my mental less sadder

Now that we're apart, I started being sober
I stopped taking drugs so I'll feel more better
While feeling positive and less of a loner
I might even stopped being a full time smoker

Cause I'm scared I might suicide in the month of October

Every night I'd have nightmares again all over
And every night it gets more darker than ever
The dream is the same where you left me as a lover
